My story
From an early age, I was captivated by colors and shapes, which led me to formal art training—starting with charcoal and gouache, and progressing from plaster models to the human figure. With a strong foundation in visual aesthetics and design education across three continents, I discovered my passion for solving problems through design. I enjoy balancing user needs and business goals to create simple, accessible solutions that hit the mark.
I love design for many reasons. It’s a career where I can make a meaningful impact by advocating for users, while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration and learning. It allows me to combine my passion for creating beautiful visuals with a commitment to accessibility, ensuring that everyone can benefit from thoughtful design.
Lifelong learning is my guiding principle. I constantly explore new ideas, whether through self-education or fresh perspectives that enrich my work and daily life. A self-starter and curious learner, I'm always seeking new opportunities to grow. Outside of design, I enjoy jogging in nature, playing board games with friends, and giving back to the community. Currently, I'm proud to serve as a volunteer UX/Web Designer for SoftGong, the first Chinese francophone adoptee community in Canada.
