Solving complex content models and information structures
The Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU) is a government health organization dedicated to patient-centric and research-driven initiatives. In our collaborative effort, our team devised three distinct design solutions and worked closely with our engineering counterparts to tackle the intricate content models integrated into the site's information structure.

Unlocking success through collaboration
In our approach to addressing content complexity and ensuring a user-centric design, we followed a comprehensive methodology that involved:
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: We maintained constant communication with the development team throughout the wireframing stage to address technical constraints and find effective solutions.
- Comprehensive Research: We actively engaged with MSSU's target audience to gain insights into their specific needs and preferences, while also conducting an in-depth study of similar healthcare websites to identify best practices and areas for potential enhancement.
- Information Architecture: We carefully structured the information layout to optimize user navigation and comprehension.
- Prototyping & Iteration: Interactive prototypes were created using Figma to facilitate user testing and refine the overall user experience.
Final results & Take aways
Delivering on both client and user needs
The website was successfully launched within the timeline, receiving positive feedback from the client. They expressed satisfaction, highlighting the website's effectiveness in communicating their mission and simplifying data search through the embedded search engine, with a 22% increase in retention rate and the drop-off rate decreased by 8%.
